Event Poster

This was a project done for design class. We partnered up with a classmate and came up with event ideas for each other. I created an astrophotography/camping event by the Outdoor Photography Guild, an organization I also created.

The entire layout was created in Illustrator. The logo was also done in Illustrator, on a separate art-board. Photoshop was also used to edit the background image.

Initially there were a few ideas as seen in version 1 (scroll down), each with a different aesthetic in mind. With feedback from my peers, I selected my strongest layout, and got to work on polishing and tightening it up. This mostly involved adjusting alignment and tweaking the layout.
